Exploration of new ideas: 

Dr. Ying Chen will be exploring an application to research to enhance availability of safe blood for patients with severe anemia and hemorrhagic conditions in low or lower-middle income countries (LLMICs) in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) - Data Coordinating Center (DCC).

Dr. Ying Chen will be exploring methods to develop and apply data-mining approaches to learn, understand, and predict the the occurrences of drug-related adverse events in HIV/AIDS prevention research through Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based learning engines.
