Welcome to our group homepage!
Michael Wu is an Assistant Member in the Biostatistics and Biomathematics Program, Public Health Sciences Division, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Previously, the group was affiliated with the Department of Biostatistics, Gillings School of Global Public Health, The Unversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The major thrust of the group's research lies in the development and application of statistical methods for translational science and particularly for analysis of high-dimensional genomic data within the broader context of clinical trials as well as population-based genetic, gene-environment interaction, epigenetic, metagenomic, and metabolomic studies. Due to our affiliation with SWOG, specific applications often focus on cancer related outcomes, but additional disorders and disease areas of interest include birth outcomes, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular disease, and environmental health related traits.
We are always eager to develop new collaborations with investigators within substantive fields as well as methodological researchers.
