Dr. Lee grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Washington as an undergrad before getting her medical degree at Stanford University, then completing her hematology/oncology fellowship training and Assistant Professorship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Since joining Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in 2006, she has built a research program focusing on HCT survivors. As a member of the Clinical Research Division, Lee is an attending physician for outpatients in the Long–Term Follow–Up Program and inpatients in the Transplant Program. When not at work, she enjoys relaxing with her two sons and husband, hiking, and reading books.
Kate graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Biology and holds a Master's Degree in Acupuncture. After working in antifungal medication and cardiovascular disease labs, Kate joined Dr. Lee’s team in 2006. She enjoys all aspects of research, knowing that she’s part of a great team helping make a difference in patients’ quality of life.
Julianne graduated from Louisiana State University and holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Planning from Queen's University Belfast. After 3 years as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington she joined Dr. Lee's team in 2017.
Marcie has an undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond (Go Spiders!) and a graduate degree from Tufts University. Her favorite parts of being a Research Coordinator at Fred Hutch are meeting the wonderful patients and feeling like she is making a small contribution to important medical research. Marcie joined Dr. Lee’s team in 2010.
Ahona graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in Biological Sciences and a specialization in Immunology. She joined Dr. Lee’s team in 2019 after working as a research assistant at the Feinberg School of Medicine.
Tracey graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Dietetics, earning Magna Cum Laude honors. She then went on to earn her Master's of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. Tracey joined Dr. Lee's team in 2010 and has extensive experience in HCT, chronic GVHD, and long term patient follow-up.
Tara graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Wright State University and has 12 years of experience in research and clinical trial administration. She joined Dr. Lee’s team in 2013 and provides fiscal management and program oversight of the Chronic Graft-versus-Host-Disease Consortium.
Lynn has a BA in Mathematics from St. Olaf College and a ScM in Biostatistics from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She worked for 2 years at the GWU Biostatistics Center in Maryland before moving to Seattle in 1991, at which point she started working at Fred Hutch and has been here ever since. After many years in the Public Health Science division, she joined Dr. Lee's team in 2016.
