Collaborative Data Services (CDS), based at the FHCRC, provides a series of core services to support investigators and projects at the FHCRC, and across the Seattle Cancer Consortium. CDS is part of the Center's Shared Resources, and is partially supported by a P30 Cancer Center Support Grant award. We are invested in supporting research infrastructure that enhances collaborative, transdisciplinary research. We are comprised of three cores: Programming, Data Control and Interviewing, and ancillary services such as tracking participants who are lost to follow up, and mathematical modeling.
CDS has many years of experience working with FHCRC investigators, and our approach to designing and implementing data collection, interviewing, and programming is rigorous, cost-effective and of high quality. Rather than hiring new staff, you can make more effective use of your funds by hiring our services either at an hourly rate, or as a percentage of FTE.
We can customize our services to fit your budget, however small: a recent completed study had a budget of $250.
Our staff can work from our suite of offices on the first floor of the Arnold building, or come to you. CDS comprises a Programming Core, a bilingual Interviewing Core, and a Data Control Core. Our teams use evidence based standards and effective quality assurance procedures from project design to final delivery.
We will work with you to describe our services and scope of work for grant preparation.
